Blessing Ceremony
Modern School, Koradi Road conducted the Blessing Ceremony for students of Class X and XII(Batch 2022-23) on 17th February. The chief guest for the event was Mrs Neeru Kapai, Director, of Modern School.
The programme began with the welcome of guests and the lighting of the lamp followed by the ‘Sarva Dharma Prarthana’. The teachers showered their blessings on the students wishing them success in their future endeavours. The students gave speeches narrating various anecdotes from their school lives. This was followed by a speech by the chief guest Mrs. Neeru Kapai who boosted the morale of the students with her motivational words. A group of students gave a beautiful rendition of the song describing ‘Faith in God’ during difficult times. It was a special day for everyone as the occasion drew unparalleled enthusiasm in all. The students also took a pledge to continue the spirit of patriotism and punctuality in their lives. The programme ended with the melodious rendition of the ‘ Pasayadaan’.
The other dignitaries who graced the occasion were Mr Kamal Kapai, Treasurer, J.K Education Society, Mrs Sujata Joshi, Executive Committee Member, Miss Ritu Kapai Executive Committee Member JK Education Society and Director Jingle Bells Kindergarten, Miss Rupali Dey, Principal Modern School, Mr. Rohan Kapai, Manager Modern School, Miss Asha Deshraj Headmistress, ModernSchool.
The programme was compered by Mrs.Biji George, who also proposed the vote of thanks. The convener of the event were Mrs. Vinita Negi and Mrs. Aparna Dutta.
