79th Independence Day Celebrations at Modern School, Koradi Road celebrated with great zeal and patriotic fervor. The event was graced by the esteemed presence of the Directors of Modern School Mr. Mohan Madhav Gandhe, Mr. Amit Surendra Yenurkar, CA Gaurav Indarchand Jaipuriya, Mr. Arvind Parmanand Khare, and CMA Mukund Vishnu Deshpande along with Miss Rupali Dey, Principal, and Miss Asha Deshraj, Headmistress.
The morning began with the arrival of the Directors of Modern School followed by the ceremonial flag hoisting and the National Anthem with due honors, A warm welcome was then extended to the directors.
The cultural programme commenced with a patriotic song by students of Std. IV and V, followed by a Hindi poem recitation by Mast. Yuvaansh Sawatkar of Std. II A. Students of Std. VII to X presented another patriotic song, after which Ms.Kshitija Tekade of Std. X C recited an English poem.
A lively dance performance by Std. VI students energized the audience, followed by a Sanskrit speech delivered by Ms. Sanchi Khemuha of Std. IX D. Students of Std. VIII to X then presented another vibrant dance performance. Ms.Reva Ashtputre of Std VIII B recited a Marathi poem. The programme also featured an impressive skating demonstration that captivated the audience.
The event concluded with a Vote of Thanks, the singing of Vande Mataram, and the distribution of sweets to all present. The proceedings were compered by Mrs. Sujata Singh and Mrs. Kshama Nayak, and the celebration was meticulously organised under the supervision of Mrs. Mamta Gunjal, the convenor of the program .The celebration was a memorable tribute to the nation, fostering unity and patriotic pride among students and staff alike.
