Modern School Celebrates Kite Festival with Grandeur and Cultural Spirit 
Modern School joyfully celebrated the Kite Festival on the auspicious occasion of Makar Sankranti, creating an atmosphere filled with enthusiasm, cultural pride, and festive cheer. The programme began with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp, invoking divine blessings.The school was honoured by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr. Sham P. Rathod, Chief Engineer – Renewable Energy, Nagpur Region. His inspiring address motivated students and emphasized values of dedication, service, and sustainability. The programme was further enriched by the esteemed panel of judges:
Mr. Dilip Khumkar, Mr. Mahendra Shah, Mr. Prashant Moharil, and Mr. Dnyaneshwar Dahake, whose valuable presence and guidance added credibility and encouragement to the competition. A special address on the significance of Makar Sankranti was delivered by Mrs. Jayshree Borkute, highlighting the cultural importance of the festival and its message of new beginnings and positivity. With the blessings and encouraging words of the dignitaries, the event proceeded to the Kite Flying Competition, where students participated enthusiastically while maintaining discipline and safety. The conveners of the event are Mrs Hitakshi Bhasey and Mrs. Sukada Kulkarni whose meticulous planning and effective coordination ensured the grand success of the event.
The event was gracefully compered by Mrs. V. Dhanavijaya and Mrs. Jayshree Borkute, who conducted the programme with confidence and elegance. This wonderful celebration was organized under the support and guidance of the school Director Mr. Amit Yenurkar, Principal Ms. Rupali Dey, whose encouragement made the day even more delightful.
