MOD Dandiya Utsav 2025 at Modern School, Koradi Road, Nagpur 
Modern School joyfully celebrated Dandiya Utsav on the evening of 29th September 2025, with enthusiastic participation from students of Classes I–XII, parents, and teachers. The campus came alive with vibrant colors, music, and festive spirit as everyone joined together to celebrate tradition with energy and grace.
The event began with the Durga Aarti, performed by the dignitaries, setting a divine and auspicious tone for the evening. The dignitaries were warmly welcomed with floral bouquets and mementos by our Principal Ms. Rupali Dey and Headmistress Ms. Asha Deshraj.
The celebration was graced by our esteemed Directors: Mr. Amit Yenurkar Sir, Mr. Mohan Gandhe Sir, Mr. Gaurav Jaipuriya Sir
We were also honored by the presence of Mrs. Biji George, Principal of NEERI Modern School, as a special guest.
Our panel of distinguished judges added immense value to the event:
Mrs. Minal Wani – Former Chairperson of JCI Nagpur Pride, Director of Madhur Tuition Classes, and President of Gujarati Mahila Mandal.
Mrs. Swati Poddar – Former President of Gujarati Lad Samaj and a passionate promoter of culture and tradition.
Mrs. Ritika Dalal – Kathak Visharad, Sangeet Alankar, MFA in Dance
Mrs. Dipti Kale – Kathak Visharad, Sangeet Alankar, MFA in Dance
The highlight of the evening was the spectacular Garba and Dandiya performances, where students, parents, and teachers showcased their best moves and colorful costumes. Prizes were awarded to the best performances, costumes, and dance moves, making the evening truly memorable. The event was a perfect blend of devotion, culture, and celebration. It not only strengthened the bond among students, parents, and teachers but also kept the rich tradition of Garba alive in its most graceful form.
A special appreciation goes to Mrs. Ritika Dalal and Mrs. Dipti Kale, our talented dance teachers, whose tireless efforts in training students, parents, and teachers made the performances spectacular. Their dedication brought out the true spirit of Garba and Dandiya.
Modern School, Koradi Road, Nagpur once again proved that learning goes beyond classrooms—into the heart of culture, tradition, and togetherness.
